‘Charlotte was of enormous help in working with our primary school-aged child to overcome some significant hurdles in maths. She has always found this subject particularly hard as she has dyscalculia, a term that we had not even heard before she was diagnosed with this learning disability some years ago. Charlotte understood instinctively how best to help our child to gain some confidence in herself and to engage with maths again, as she had grown fearful of even trying to understand the fundaments of addition, subtraction, long division, and simple equations. Charlotte worked with her with great patience, care, and perseverance, setting her on a far happier course in maths. She is North Oxford’s best-kept secret as a tutor!
